Well, I wrote last night, but for some reason the blog published twice. I deleted one copy, but both copies went the way of the dodo. Thus be it into cyberspace.

I was reading in Ezra about Cyrus letting the Israelites go to build the temple. After they arrived in Jerusalem, the Israelites built an altar so that they could give thanks to God, offering their sacrifices as was laid down in the law of Moses. How appropriate, that when we receive an obvious gift from God, we rejoice and give Him thanks.

Each day is a gift from God. Each person we meet is a gift from God. All our stuff is a gift from God. Let us rejoice and be glad in them.
