It's the economy, stupid! It's Iraq, stupid. It's global warming, stupid! It's stupid, stupid.

I have to vent. I am tired of the Other Party clutching a straws in order to find something wrong with this nation. I would like one person to answer a simple question for me.

Who has this country?

That's all. Who has this country? Why won't the Other Party tell us who has this country that we need to take back. I saw Howard Dean (Other Party member) and former presidential candidate say that we need to take this country back. From whom? I still own my house. I still have my job, temporary, but a job nonetheless. I still have my family. I am still able to go wherever I want, whenever I want. I am not detained, prevented, coerced, discriminated against, or anything else that I see in other nations. So, Howard, who has this country? I half expected a jungle yell from him after he said that someone else has this country and we need to take it back.

And then there is John Kerry. I have proof that John Kerry and his indecisiveness are contagious. I was driving home from work last Friday, in the right lane. The driver of a white SUV with a John Kerry bumper sticker indicated to move into the right lane from the center lane. I was suspicious of the SUV and wondered if the driver would admit to owning it. I was also somewhat woeful at the owner of said SUV with the Kerry sticker. Incidently, the bumper sticker was actually on the rear window not on the bumber.

As I said, the owner indicated to move into the right lane, just ahead of me. I maintained a safe distance, enough room to allow the driver to change lanes. After completely about half of the lane change (two wheels were in the right lane and two were in the center lane), the driver suddenly and without indication moved back into the center lane. Fortunately, in this case there was no danger to other drivers. After I passed said driver of the white SUV with the John Kerry "bumber" sticker on it, the driver began to change lanes again, decided not to change lanes, then again attempted to complete this delicate manoever. Finally, the driver of the white SUV completed this taxing driving technique.

I wondered to myself: had this driver, whether or not they truly owned the SUV they were driving, completely sold him- or herself to John Kerry's politics that they were willing to follow his example, at the risk to others? Was this person, by placing the "bumper" sticker on their window, saying to the rest of us "I can't make up my mind and I am proud of it"?

If this driver of the white SUV is indicative of Kerry supporters, the rest of us should be extra careful when driving in their midst. Maybe they know who has this country. Hey, wait up!!! I have a question!!!
